We are an organization founded on Christian values and provide services to all who need them. We have a holistic approach to meeting the needs of widows, orphans, and other vulnerable groups in Rwanda through our 4 programs.

Child-care and development

Our Child-care and Development program focuses on helping children and young adults look for a better future. This program includes support for children in their education starting from nursery to university; healthcare and nutrition initiatives and parental support. Specific components of the program may vary, but the overall aim is to provide a comprehensive and supportive foundation for a child’s early years

Community-based development

Our Community-Based Development focuses on helping the beneficiaries to help themselves. By providing micro-loans for agriculture and small businesses, livestock donations to elderly people and creating and renovating shelter, Solace gives them the chance to pursue income-generating activities.

Health care and treatment

Our Healthcare and Treatment program was first established in 2005 to help HIV-positive victims of sexual violence from the genocide against the Tutsis. Through the years we established further services. Running a medical clinic in Kabuga, Solace provides healthcare services to a growing population of over 50.000 people.

Compassionate Ministries

Our Compassionate Ministries Program has brought to life a famous Conference Series which is held every year with speakers from all around the world. The goal is to connect like-minded people and organizations to learn from each other.
Another aspect of the Compassionate Ministries Program are our Counseling and Trauma healing services.
