120 Micro Loans were given out to Bicumbi farmers, preparing them for the upcoming season.
With the help of Ora Kinderhilfe e.V. we were able to give out 120 micro-loans to the Community of Bicumbi. WIth a total of 2.5m RWF (1900€) this was one of our biggest distribution we had so far. Lambert and his team were delighted to be able to help so many people. The head of the community-development program was seemingly impressed: “It is amazing to see how our partnership with Ora Kinderhilfe e.V. is enabling us to operate at a scale, where we not only help certain individuals, but have the opportunity to increase the wealth of a whole community. I am more than happy that especially in Bicumbi, where there is a high need for support, we were able to assist.”. The loans will be due in August 2024, decided by a democratic decision of the beneficiaries.
